A Customer Service and Leadership Programme to Give Front-line Teams a Smoother Path to Success
This inspiring programme is for those in volunteering or employed roles in employer or community settings. Leaders and employees inevitably have different perspectives, experiences and skills. This can be invaluable to a business and organisation; however, it doesn’t always make for a productive and happy working environment.
Flight Path helps people to work effectively and efficiently together, and be happier in what they do.
It provides an authentic, sustainable way to develop leadership skills and confidence. It helps to motivate and empower team-working structures. And it has a fast and positive effect on the quality of customer service.
For the organisation or business, it has the huge advantage of reducing the impact of having to release staff for training, as most of the programme is delivered in-house and on-the-job. In fact, this makes it even more effective, as the focus is on real, relevant, day-to-day activities, not hypothetical examples or case studies.
The results? Higher productivity, better relationships, improved customer experience, and happier staff.
Includes: Varied and creative self-discovery and goal setting; problem-solving and decision-making activities; reflective learning tasks for growing leadership, team-working and communication skills as a member of a work-themed team.
Involves: Developing a real-life team project for solving a specific customer-service-themed problem that is impacting your business; building a creative learning journal in individual confidence-coaching sessions; using varied resources to meet individual needs and learning styles.
SPECIAL POST-PROGRAMME EXTRA: Sheila offers a FREE 60-minute review session with participants, to be accessed in the three weeks following the final team presentation.

What People Say…
“If you believe in yourself you can and will achieve better things. How do I know? I have gone from very little confidence to writing this… and gone on to be a very much improved me. So [my workplace] is getting better, more organised, busier, bigger, but I can now take on more challenges as they come along.”

“Flight Path has made me put myself into the patient experience and see things through their eyes and made us, as a team, feel valued and to continue to evolve as a service.”
Manager, Works Team, Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital
“Flight Path empowered supervisors to work as a team and increased generic working within the rest of Facilities. The reason that we are here is for the patient and the team focused on this and took into consideration the negatives of the job and turned them into positives. Supervisors introduced a communication book for all to complete on all ward areas and set up open forums to communicate to the staff that work unusual hours, so all staff are captured and then feel that communication is ongoing. They also understand and have developed skills in treating all as individuals and not as a collective body.”
Debby Monckton, Head of Estates and Facilities, Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust
“Sheila Caulfield was one half of the successful team that supported the delivery of the Get On Local Government Campaign ¬– the Skills for Life national programme between 2005 and 2008 for the Improvement and Development Agency for local government. This national programme worked with over 250 councils covering a workforce of over 500,000 employees in England. Sheila Caulfield provided excellent client liaison and support to help drive up standards across the local government workforce in literacy, language and numeracy. Sheila’s personal drive, enthusiasm and commitment helped councils successfully project manage and take action to embed a whole organisational approach to addressing workforce literacy, language and numeracy (skills for life). I would have no hesitation in working with Sheila again as she provides an astute approach to problem solving in the public sector coupled with a warmth and personable approach that engages chief executives and front-line staff alike.”
Nigel Carruthers, Senior Advisor Local Government Association
“I have been fortunate to work with Sheila during the last five years. Sheila was commissioned to develop a business planning process, including nationally recognised training opportunities for the Social Enterprise of which I am Chair. Sheila has outstanding communication skills across a wide audience, with those that are unfamiliar or not confident with business models and strategic planning for successful outcomes. This work followed a successful bid for funding that required organisational change including change for employees, volunteers and designing and delivering educational pathways for very vulnerable people. The benefit of her knowledge, experience and skills has enabled those far from education to achieve educational qualifications recognised nationally. The outcome for the organisation was a business planning process that has contributed to further funding successes and lasting benefit for the organisation and service users. I have absolute confidence that Sheila is an experienced change agent, an excellent communicator and someone who will commit to delivering the commission.”
